Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition's (ACFC) mission is to bring Alternative and advanced technology fuels and vehicles to our towns and cities in Alabama.

The availability of alternative fuels and the use of vehicles powered by alternative fuels in Alabama will foster:

  • Increased domestic energy security
  • Enhanced economic development, and
  • Improved air quality

Southeast Electric Vehicle Readiness Conference

A Southeast Electric Vehicle Readiness Conference was held October 26 at the Montgomery Convention Center. This one-day conference (see Agenda by clicking HERE) featured the results of a year-long tri-state (Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina) planning effort for the deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). Attendees were provided information on how a community can become EV Ready; including, sharing of best practices for EV/EVSE readiness activities and information on how to best develop and enhance EV/EVSE policies and incentives at the city, county and state levels.
